People can come visit your plot and give you ‘Cookies’, which are basically like the reward system. You are given a plot of land to really do whatever you want. You use these blocks to basically build whatever you want. When you open the Mystery Box, you get a prize, either a lobby accessory, or a different block to use in housing. This is probably my second favorite ‘game’ on this server. Delivery Man gives you coins and experience for voting, answering surveys, etc. But you have to have a rank ( from their store) to open 4 or 5 star Boxes. The average player can open any mystery boxes 1 – 3 star. Mystery Boxes you can get when joining a lobby ( it’s a rare chance) or you can buy them with ‘Hypixel Credits’, which is like an international currency of Hypixel. They give you lobby accessories, and blocks for housing.They can range anywhere from a 1 star to a 5 star. I really like the idea of these two additions (that I’m sure Mineplex will copy soon). IT’S SICK! You basically just drive a car around a track and see who gets first. If you didn’t start a while ago, it will be really hard to win or get kills a lot, because everyone else starts with Diamond armor, and you get a stick. I love it a lot, but there is one exception: the kits are really OP. This is Hypixel take on the ever so popular ‘Hunger Games’ gamemode. The cages can be anywhere from ‘Common’ to ‘Legendary’, (they look different), and it’s actually a really cool addition to the game. You get ‘souls’ for every kill you get, and if you get 10, you can get a roll at the Soul Well, which gives you different kits and cages to use in game.
There is also a sick addition called the ‘Soul Well’.
You can play solo, team with a friend, or be on a team of 5 with 95 other players. Some of the kits are kind of OP, but not to the point where it is impossible to play.
#ENCHANTING TABLE LOCATOINS IN MINEPLEX SURVIVAL GAMES MAPS UPGRADE#
As you get to save up coins to upgrade kits, and also have 6 different game-modes to choose from, it’s really cool. Only reason for that is because of some of it’s minigames, and also times where if you are a new player, it’s extremely hard to win (Blitz Survival). Overall, this server is extremely well done. I’ll get more into these later, but for now I will just do the rating, and then move on to the separate minigames. When you appear in the hub, you will see a sidebar with how many coins you have, and also sometimes some stats. When you click on one of these items, you are teleported to the main hub for that minigame. When you first join Hypixel, you are sent to this sick looking platform with a Portal (which no one uses cause you can just right click the compass and go a lot faster), and when you do that (or simply click the compass), you are presented with an ‘Inventory’ of Items, each having it’s own name. OK, maybe I’m a little over-exaggerating, but I mean, a lot of servers copy off of Hypixel instead of actually being creative, but that’s more for later. Unlike Mineplex, ProMC, and many other servers, the creators actually have creativity. This server, known as ‘Hypixel’, is my all time FAVORITE server.
